Truth is for many of us, life can be hard at times, but we have to learn how to ask for help. I know this isn't easy; especially in a society where asking for help is seen as a weakness, when it's actually a strength.

We're taught that we need to be self sufficient, have all the answers ... but who really has all the answers? None of us.

What I know for sure is that when you master asking for help, life gets a whole lot easier.

I'm a BIG @sethgodin fan.

He's one of the OGs when it comes to marketing and this quote sums up entrepreneurship for me.

Running your own biz always comes with risk.

You're responsible for not only your own income, but paying other peoples salaries if you've got a team.

And even when an idea seems perfect, it can fail for any number of reasons.

But without taking risks, we can't achieve anything.

Fear is normal … and when it’s in front of us it feels WAY scarier than regret.

Cos we can see it and it’s DAUNTING!

But regret builds up over time. And if you don’t face your fears, you’ll end up weighed down by regret.

So take that risk … send a DM to that person. Reach out to that newspaper. Make that phone call.

To fear is to be human. But if you’re gonna fear anything … fear regret.

The last 18 months has been hard on all of us. Time to take my boy back to see his family in Barbados and really switch off.

Nothing soothes the soul like time out with the people you love.

Think of all the talent we are missing out on …

One thing that a lot of people don’t know about me … I used to run a $100m investment fund where we focused solely on tech start ups.

Most of the start ups who came to see us were run / founded / fronted by white guys.

We did our best to shift that balance. Not just to fund more women, but to proactively seek out non white funded start ups.

If we want the landscape to change, we have to change the make up of those running the funds, managing the funds and making the decisions.
