We’re are looking for a self driven Business Manager to help us successfully take our business to the next level.
The Business Manager will manage day-to-day running of the business and implementation of the business plan and core strategy, overseeing all projects and ensuring agreed deadlines and targets are met.
They’ll project manage key products, task management and oversee our core team and contractors, while identifying and implementing processes to enhance productivity and performance.
The position will provide commercial operations support to the founders and report in key performance metrics and MI so they can quickly and easily make strategic decisions.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
The right candidate will most likely come from a management, business, operations or finance background, but more importantly will be a PROCESS person who is motivated by implementing strategy and delivering results.
They will also need to be able to work with entrepreneurial type founders, who whilst very commercial are much less process driven.
Must have strong analytical and organisational skills, ability to be effective under pressure, and able to show initiative to improve and optimise existing systems or processes if they’re not delivering.
Needs experience in understanding management accounts, the core metrics of any online business and be able to work with our finance team to manage, drive and report day-to-day performance of the business against its forecast targets.
Should have experience of managing employees, contractors, suppliers and clients, demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing contracts, highly-advanced emotional competence with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
It would be advantageous to have experience in the entrepreneur, coaching, speaking or online learning space and / or to have a deep understanding of scaling an online training business, but it is not essential.
Likewise, we’d welcome candidates with direct experience of working with coaches, consultants, trainers, small business owners or entrepreneurs.
