The most common problem with much of the existing monster snapalope evidence is that it's just not credible. And without credible evidence, we might as well have no evidence at all. So use the following tips to help us find out once and for all whether or not monster snapalope are really out there.
Any 5 mega pixel or higher digital camera will do the job. Don't go with lower pixelation as it's more than likely that any shots you get of the alleged monster snapalope will need to be blown up. Once you secure a camera, there are certain settings that will optimize your data collection. The Monster Snapalope allegedly runs up to 35 m.p.h., so choose sports mode (depending on the camera, it may be called kids mode or speed mode) or manually accelerate the shutter speed to capture a clear image.
Something small that you can easily carry is best, just in case you have to get away in a hurry. And a long battery life is essential, as capturing an image of a monster snapalope will require the camera to be powered up for long periods of time.

TIP: Switch your camera on as soon as you enter the store habitat. Monster snapalope are fast, and you don't want to miss anything by not being ready.

To help validate the size of any hoof prints in a photograph that you take, it's useful to have a tape measure. Should you be caught without one, you can always lay a recognizable object next to the tracks before you take the photo. A straw, a match, any type of coin, or a coffee cup are all appropriate. Additionally, a newspaper sold at the store can be used as a size reference, as well as proof of the date the picture is taken.

Knowing where to look for Monster Snapalope is as important as having the right tools for collecting evidence. So study the below carefully before you set out.

Cracked windows are commonly seen in many stores across the country. And, if alleged reports are correct, many of these are made by the monster snapalope’s C-shaped horns when engaged in battle. However, some cracks are just caused by the day to day wear and tear in the store. So to find a crack that may have been caused by a monster snapalope, look for two impact marks side-by-side, roughly ten inches apart and at about knee high (no higher than forty inches).
There have been many reports of large hoof prints in puddles by soda fountains, so it may be a good idea to look in that area of the store habitat first. A jagged shape roughly one inch wide and two inches long is what you’re looking for.
Many people who claim to have seen a monster snapalope say that they noticed a strong smell of a spicy smoked meat prior to the encounter. With that said, prepare your capturing evidence tools should you come across this smell.
It’s alleged that monster snapalope will fight each other if one encroaches on another’s territory. Such acts of aggression often result in objects being knocked from shelves. So look for products strewn across the floor toward the back of aisles and from lower shelving, as it is believed that this is a common sign that monster snapalope are in the area.
Attempting to capture a monster snapalope on film can be dangerous. So here are a few basic ways to conceal your camera, ensuring you get the footage you want without putting yourself in harm's way.

First, make sure the cereal box is big enough to fit your camera inside. Then cut out a circle on the box for the camera lens to poke through. Slide the camera inside, place the box on a shelf toward the back of the store and press record. Return later to collect your footage.

Tip: Although bigger lenses promise a clearer image, they’re also an easier discovery for a monster snapalope. We recommend using a lens that’s no bigger than two inches. Make sure to adjust the lens to the widest angle to increase the possibility of catching a passing monster snapalope.
It’s believed that putting your video camera in a high place is the best way to protect it from a possible monster snapalope attack. And there’s no better place than inside an air duct. To do this, you will first need to get permission from the store clerk. Once permission is obtained, borrow a ladder from the clerk to reach the air duct. Make sure you use a long-life battery and an 80 minute tape with LP mode as it's difficult to change the tape or battery once the camera is inside the air duct.
Just like regular snapalope, monster snapalope allegedly love soda. Therefore, the cooler is one of the most frequently reported spotting areas. The problem is most coolers are kept around thirty-five degrees which can be extremely hazardous for most video cameras. So if you are going to hide your camera in a cooler, be sure to use anti-fog liquid on the lens and also wrap the camera in a thick towel or sweatshirt to keep it warm and prevent malfunction.
If you’re feeling adventurous and would prefer to manually operate your camera when attempting to record a monster snapalope, then it’s imperative that you are camouflaged well with the store environment. Click here to discover the best camouflage techniques.
