S.H.A.A. encourages the utilization of every part of the snapalope. So study this section carefully and learn how to
fashion belts, bill holders and other accessories from the exquisite hide of these magnificent creatures.
     
All snapalope skins should be prepared properly. This involves the following simple steps:
Required Materials: Snapalope skins, scissors, soap, sponge, and water.
STEP 1
Use scissors to remove the clear underside of the skins. Be careful not to damage the brightly colored red and yellow markings on the other side.
STEP 2
Use soap, sponge and water to wash any remaining spicy smoked meat from the skins.
If you’re a traditionalist you may want to use your tongue for this.
STEP 3
Hang the skins in a warm place until dry.
